Camporè

The Camporè vineyards are located in Contrada San Lorenzo – Camporè in Randazzo at 765 meters above sea level, on the north side of Mount Etna.

The name of the project comes from the fact that this precious land owned by the King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II, then it passed by donation to Cavalier Giovanni Vagliasindi.

In 2016 Maria Pia Madaudo, a young entrepreneur with a passion for Etna and wine, took over from the Vagliasindi heirs with the Camporè project.

The Camporè estate is a place of natural beauty and charm where everything is reminiscent of bygone times

The restoration of the ancient villa and the adjoining rural buildings (such as the ancient palmento today a tasting room and the old stable used as a sales area) has been rigorously restored with a conservation project aimed at bringing innovation through the reference to tradition.

The 8 hectares of vineyards fall within the production area of ​​Etna Doc wines, preserving ancient vines of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio alongside the new Carricante grape system.

The estate boasts 4 elegant rooms and a lovely noble church consecrated to San Lorenzo and San Maurizio dating back to the 18th century.

The company is also equipped with a restaurant, intimate and elegant, where Camporè wines are paired with dishes aimed at enhancing the inseparable link with nature and its colors, with people and to understand totally the identity of Mount Etna.

ITINERANT TASTING IN CAMPORÈ

We love to welcome our guests by offering a glass of Camporè sparkling wine made from Nerello Mascalese grapes.

The “journey” into the Camporè world begins with a visit to the ancient villa, the noble church dating back to the 18th century, the comfortable rooms, the refined and intimate restaurant.

The itinerary continues through the vineyard rows to the ancient tower from which you can admire Etna while sipping a glass of white Etna DOC Camporè.

After this evocative vision, we move inside the ancient palmento to taste our Etna rosato and Etna rosso DOC accompanied by the typical flavors of the Etna area.
